Internationalization
The labour market is globalising at a rapid pace and workers are becoming more and more internationally mobile. Additionally, the Netherlands is home to a great variety of nationalities and cultures. As a result, the international dimension of education has become increasingly important for Aventus.
International opportunities at Aventus
- Doing a traineeship abroad
Aventus has contacts with an extensive range of organisations across the world that offer high-level traineeships. Many of our students do practical training abroad. Once students have acquired experience abroad, they have an easier time finding a job in other countries after graduation.
- An exchange programme with foreign students
Aventus has ties with various partner colleges in Europe and other countries that organise exchange programmes.
- Work weeks and excursions abroad
Familiarising oneself with of one’s future profession in another country is a valuable experience for many students.
- Projects with foreign students
Aventus regularly organises projects in which our students collaborate with foreign students. The students contact each other either via e-mail or Internet.
- Programme taught in English: ‘International tourism & leisure management’
Upon completion of this programme, which is taught in English, students receive an internationally recognised Cambridge certificate.
